This was a hard fought win against a team full of desire and athletic strength. WS had to contend with a lot of physical challenges, a bouncy pitch and a windy day.
Colo played with a deep lying sweeper who was quick to get to the ball and tried to play long to their lone striker over the top of our defence. The constant long ball was always difficult to deal with and at times WS could have ended up in danger.
WS had to use NSWIS and Joeys players Yianni Perkatis and Milos Degenek to assert more dominance and it was eventually Milos who scored from a good passage of play, after already missing from the penalty spot.
Mr Morgan complemented Colo on their determination and will to win which made it a hard match for us to play
