WESTFIELDS SPORTS WON THE SSW CARNIVAL

Brief summary of the day by coach Rob Bradshaw:
“GAME 1 – FISHER-
Westfields kept possession for the majority of the match. There was plenty of movement and patience, switching play regularly to disorganise the Fisher defence. Goals from Vanisha, Leesa, Cayla, Helen and Patricia. Final score: 5-0

GAME 2 – MACARTHUR –
A better and more organised opposition, Westfields took longer to adapt to the consistent pressure. Plenty of chances but could only manage a 1-1 draw. 1 goal disallowed for Westfields also. Candace scored for Westfields.

GAME 3 – EDMONDSON –
Players from Westfields were using this game to adapt to other playing positions. The girls lacked a little patience and composure at vital moments but scored 3 times to win 3-1. Goals came from Alana, Helen and Stephanie.

Great performances by all the Westfields Sports girls, congratulations to the players successful in SSW selection:
