WESTFIELDS Sports
High School was beaten
20 - 12 by Blacktown's
Terra Sancta College in a
quarter - final of the
Kellogs Nutrigrain Cup
in rugby league last
Friday.

The game was played at
Parramatta Stadium
Before the Parramatta -
Roosters first grade
match and was telecast
on Channel 9.

Westfields led Friday's
game at various stages
but were broken by two
late tries. The signs
were not good early when
Terra Sancta scored
from their first set
of six.

However Westfields re-
covered well and Robert
Bruce
scored a fine try
after running 40m. Cap-
tain Chris Armit con-
verted the try and a little
later added a penalty goal
for a lead of 8 - 4 at
halftime. Early in the
second half Terra Sancta
regained the lead, West-
fields dropped the ball.

Soon afterwards Westfields
and NSW fullback Joven
Clarke
Made a good break
and sent Travis Robinson
in for an unconverted try and a
12 - 10 lead. Experience
told in the final minutes
when Terra Sancta ran in
two Tries.

Westfields are now out
of the competition
