BOSSLEY Park netball sensation
Amy Wild has been resigned with the Sydney Swifts for another year.
The 2010 season will be Wild’s second in the country’s most elite netball competition, the ANZ Championship.
The goal shooting specialist will take the court alongside new recruits Ashleigh Brazill and English international Sonia Mkoloma in the
Swifts first match of the season on Sunday, March 21.
Netball NSW General Manager Carolyn Campbell said Wild’s inclusion in the team for another year was a reward for her hard work.
“Wild and Brazill were integral members of the NSW under 21 team that won the National Netball Championship earlier this year,” she said.
“They have both come through the Netball NSW player pathway and are excellent role models and examples of what can be achieved through hard
work and dedication.”
The former
Westfields Sports student has played representative netball for the Fairfield City and Eastwood-Ryde netball
associations, as well as state and Australian schoolgirls sides.
In 2006 Wild was a Fairfield Advance Junior Sports Star nominee and the Western Sydney Academy of Sport’s Netball Athlete of the Year.
