Westfields Sports High School junior basketball teams have helped keep up the schools great sporty reputation with recent
competition results. But they haven't finished yet.
Both male and female teams blitzed the Combined High Schools (CHS) state knockout with 40-plus margins in their grand finals.
Majority of the team members also competed in the NSW Junior High Schools State Championships, defeating all sides,
including those from Catholic and independrnt schools.
On Monday two boys' teams and s girls' team made their way to Albury for the Schools National Championships where they will
play until Saturday for the title.

"Were imagining similar sort of success, even though it will be a bit tougher," said boyd basketball coach Bernie Slattery.
Girls basketball coach Tracey Samuels said she was very pleasantly surprised at the lucky roll the girls have been enjoying.
They're going very well and I think they've improved," Samuels said.
